MRCC launched the Conservation Outreach Project in the Spring of 2025, coordinated by Jill Lucht
MRCC’s Conservation Outreach Project is a statewide initiative helping family farmers access NRCS conservation programs. Jill’s focus is helping small and mid-scale livestock producers as well as specialty crop and non-traditional farmers incorporate conservation practices into their farming operations and learn how they may qualify for technical and financial assistance through the Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP) and Conservation Stewardship Program (CSP).
MRCC is part of a 5-state group of organizations doing conservation outreach with small and independent family farmers in our states. The other states in our network include Kansas, Iowa, Minnesota and Wisconsin. Contact Jill at (573) 449-1336 or jill@morural.org for more information.
