We told you in our last update email about an upcoming townhall in Montgomery County– nearly 500 people attended that meeting back in January! We’re continuing to work with our members in their fight to stop the mega data centers attempting to move in. If you drive between St. Louis and Columbia, you’ve probably noticed our billboard on 1-70 in Montgomery County. (If not, keep your eyes peeled next time you roll through!) In addition to these local level actions, we’re also working with legislators in Jefferson City to craft legislation on this emerging issue for our state. We don’t have to tell you that they are popping up everywhere! We’re working as part of the No MO Dirty Data Center Coalition, so please keep those tips coming when you see news about data centers moving into your community. Let James know at james@morural.org!
