Let’s turn up the heat on COOL!
Did you know: Meatpackers are literally importing billions of pounds of beef every year from countries all around the world. For example, in 2023, the U.S. imported 3.7 billion pounds of beef from countries like Canada, Mexico, New Zealand, Australia, Brazil and Nicaragua. In 2023, the U.S. imported 2 million live cattle.
Unfair trade policies like these have severely and significantly undercut cattle prices paid to U.S. farmers while allowing corporations to manipulate markets and raise prices for consumers.
