Last Tuesday, MRCC members joined with other farmer members of the Campaign for Family Farms and the Environment, to go to D.C. and take our Farm Bill priorities to our Congressional representatives. We called for a new vision and a fair Farm Bill for everyone, farmers, consumers, and workers alike.
Our asks included: stop subsidizing factory farms with taxpayer dollars, pass a moratorium on new corporate mega-mergers and break up the meatpacking giants and restore competition in livestock markets.
Thank you to Darvin and Noah for making the trip, telling your stories and demanding change.
