Our federal government and anti-trust regulators should stop the proposed acquisition of TriOak by JBS (Brazilian corporation and the biggest meatpacker in the world).
“These types of mergers are increasing corporations’ ability to collude and control markets more than they already are,” says the Missouri Rural Crisis Center, a farm and rural membership organization. “They enable corporations to make as much money as possible, pay farmers less, and charge consumers more.”
