Pandemic fallout shows weaknesses of supply chains and corporate control of meat production, packing and distribution. 17,300 workers sickened in 29 states, rising consumer prices, shortages for the domestic market, and critically low prices for family farmers.

“The multinational meat companies who created this mess must not be allowed to decide what happens next for our food supply. It’s got to be all of us.”
